On-Campus Accommodation
The conference has reserved 90 rooms in Loyola residence, right next to the conference venue. Check-in and entrance are at 5907 Gorsebrook Avenue on the south side of campus. Check-in is 3:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am on the departure date. The check-in desk is open 24 hours a day.

A single private bedroom (shared washroom) is $68.09 + applicable taxes = $79.95/night.
A double (2 single beds in the private bedroom, shared bathroom) is $134.52 + applicable taxes = $157.95/night.


Rates include: wifi, parking, linens, towels and access to the Homburg Fitness Centre.

Off-Campus Accommodation
The SMU campus is in the south end of Halifax. Most hotels are located in the downtown area, about 30 minutes walk away or about 10 minutes driving – please plan accordingly. Uber, Lyft, Uride and various taxi services are available throughout the city.

Getting to Halifax
Halifax Stanfield Airport (YHZ) is located northeast of Halifax and about a 30-minute drive to the university campus. A taxi from the airport costs about $65-$75 depending on destination.
